We've talked about it, but anyone ever consider it?

The site went down as soon as I tried posting this!
Anyways... guess I gotta retype it. But I don't feel like it. I'll just give my briefing on what I said.
I know Will was interested in doing this. Solo2 - Auto-X
Considering most people are entering their cars for show and sound competitions, might as well share what I'd like to do with my ride. Anybody can do it. You don't need a super car or a car with the best suspension mods to win, it's totally about driver's skill.

It's really not about power or your car's capability. It's driver's skill. You just drive to your car's capability.
Heh, I think I might be convinced to invite Zzyzx to this thread.

If I compete now, I'll have to remove my rear sway bar that I don't want to remove.
Reason be is that so many people with bigger bars who auto-X with it end up breaking their endlinks and I do not want to have to resort to replacing them. Last time I tried removing it, I failed. Bill torqued it on VERY tight.
So yeah, if I can remove my bar, I'll do it until I have springs stiff enough in the rear so that the car doesn't depend on it as much as it does now. I want to continuously compete once i have a bank account for tires.
BTW, suspension mods do little on the auto-x track. You might get passed the finish line .3 seconds faster, but a better driver in the same car with less mods will still own you.

I'd be interested in doing something like this for sure, I would have to remove my entire trunk set-up though, which right now is no big deal, but when i get the finished trunk set up .... that'll be a BIAAATICH .....

Your alignment off?
Try getting a rear bar? (Yeah, it's not gonna be cheap.)
Rear control arm alright, Will? I find that really weird, but given the fact your ride was in a pretty bad accident, I have to wonder about how it turned out when they finished the repairs. They align your car after it was done with repairs? They're supposed to you know.

I believe your toe angle is hella off. The wrong toe angle can turn the personality of a car around for the worse, easily. I'd like to know the results of your alignment when you get it done. I'd like to see how off your wheels are. You definitely shouldn't be racing with the toe affecting the car like it is now. Wish I figured it out earlier.

Your car is like a naked Olsen Twin dropped in the bowels of hell full of eager, teased, crazed demons. Make the wrong step... fall through the floor and get raped. Go around the wrong corner, get tackled and get *** raped with flames burning before your face. Don't watch your back, and they'll be doin the humpty dance all over you.
