what's the best cellphone company in tehe bay area? im gonna go to school (SFSU), and need some advice on the best company... thanks

Different services work better in different places, I personally have had a better experience with the Digital AT&T then ANYTHING else, but I will sell you what ever you want and I'll hook it up too....

Rep Power: 0 most people don't understand that AT&T has two different and seprate networks .... one is new, and not that great as of yet.... That is there GSM network.... then they have there TDMA network, andthat works great almost everywhere.... I have t-mobile cause the employee plan is really good and the phones are pretty tight... and actually there regular plans are pretty good too,.... Sprint has gotton a-lot better in the past like 2years, and there phones are tight as hell ... Cingular is a rip off no matter what I absolutly HATE cingular everything (and I DO mean everything) about them blows harder then a hooker on dope ! Nextel is good if you know many peeps that also have it, Metro PCS has one of the greatest plans on planet by far, just it only works in certain areas only ...
Does anyone have or know someone that has metro pcs? 35 bucks, talk all you want? i want to know what kind of service they have because i was thinking of getting it. any help will be appreciated. thanks

Rep Power: 0 kenshin works for metro pcs up in Sac. but yeah its unlimited minutes for $35 and the $35 ONLY gets you making and recieving calls, no VM, No Caller ID, No call waiting you have to pay foreverything extra you even have to pay extra for gettin a bill in the mail....
