Question ask for compensation from road work dept?

do you guys know if we can get compensation from the road work department or something for car suspension damage due to uneven roads?

I remember my friend busted his tire and bent his rim heading to Vallejo in the rain.

You could try to file something against Cal Trans. I've heard some people have gotten compensation about it while others haven't in some areas.
