Angry OMG what is wrong with some dealers

I know this is OFF topic but I post it here cause it has to do with a dealer in cali so. Any way me and my friend have been looking for a place to buy a mitsu lancer evo for him (with out paying a markup) and he stoped at a dealer quite a distance from here ( like next to Iraq )to see what they had cause supposedley they had the most in cali so it must mean better selection right ,well it didn't dawn on him that they had such a selection cause of their freaking markup .anyway he gets there and hopps in a black EVO and he liked it so then he gets out to look at the asking price and he almost had a heart attack $50,000.00 for an EVO with no extras just a regular evo with a $20,000 markup he just left pissed *** hell .Point is why do dealers try to sell an evo for $50,000 bucks and they know the only people intrested in a EVO can hardly afford $30,000 in most cases. Isn't that like shooting your self in the foot? here is a pic of the sticker off one of the carsWindow sticker what are your thoughts on the whole thing is there something he could do or does he have to eat some kind of mark-up the cheapest he has seen is about $3,000.00 mark up.

demand and supply...

there are some (unlogical/insane/retarded/too rich/deeply-in-love) people that are willing and have been buying them at that price.

But imo the evo is dying out... i haven't seen more than 2 or 3 on the street. The STI is a MUCH better value...

Heck, the SRT-4 is selling like hot dogs! It's time for those Mitsu dealerships to calm down....

imo they know the hype of the evo and they wanted to take advantage of it but i don't think they considered other factors in it. well they probably did know that you can get a tl-s for that price and such or even a 350z.. but i think its mainly hype. but what i'd do is sell a lot at a descent or low profit margin. you'd probably make a lot more money than waiting for those "few" rich people

Nodnero has a spectacular aura aboutNodnero has a spectacular aura about
Mitsu needs to grab their ears and pull their heads out their *** cuz they cant see that people arent gonna spend 40-50k for a EVO. Sure its an awesome car, believe me I love the damn thing. But for that price I would rather get a 350z, CL-S (same engine as TL-S), or for a lil more an M3. Time to see the lite mitsu.

Thats unreal! I test drove one at the Mitsu dealer here in Concord, NH 3 weeks ago. They had three and ALL were being sold at sticker. The Boston dealerships didn't even have any at the time and the dealership here were still not putting a mark up on it. $50k is just insane.
