it's MINE, ALL MINE. muahahaha
well, up til now the civic was paid for by my parents, and i'm cool with that 
. (hey! i'm grateful for it). they said it would be mine if i went to a UC for college since it's relatively cheap. anyway, today i'm talking to my dad about the some 7,500-8,000 dollars of mine that he's been keeping in his account. so i just told him, "you take all that and let's say the car is mine!" w00t! 
so.......it's mine. i know 8,000 is nowhere near how much it cost, but it's like i paid half, and that's not bad considering i've never had a job. well, there goes 8 thousand bucks, everything i've been saving up for 17 years (just from birthday and holiday presents. haha!). oh well, now i own my car. sa-weeeeeeeet!
just sharing the joy, since the SoCal forum has become increasingly, ummmmm, personal

. hehe, it's alright, though. my parents are going to pay for my college and stuff, so i know i'll be "under their wing" for a long time. to tell the truth, they didn't expect me to pay it back anyway; i just did it to...uhhhh, feel independent (or something like that )
