Okay, I'm gonna try to compress my long assed story into a little one for ya guys:

Fall quarter (it's spring right now): boy in class named eugene (ugly, nasty, ewwy), me no like him, talked to him in class like I talk to ANYONE ELSE in class... umm.. like "hi" or "question about paper", etc...
Okay, he starts acting creepy: how u ask? following me around.. I am like, "okay, I'm going to my class now, bye (hint, go away)" but he keeps following me... scary.. Once, he follows me INTO a class.. gross I try best to not sit anywhere near this dude in class... One day, we are supposed to pick up our term papers. He approaches me one day and tells me he picked mine up for me. I say, "Give it to me." He says, "I don't have it with me, come find me" I say, "hell no, how dare u get my paper? I don't even want it now. **** u"

Winter quarter: Phew! He's not in any of my classes!! Yippee! I walk out of my clinical class, and am walking one day, guess who shows?? What a coincidence. He said he remembered me mentioning that I wanted to take another of Dr. Wright's classes, so this was the only class she was teaching this quarter, meaning he LOOKED in the class schedule to find out where/when Wright's class was, in order to find me. Okay, creepy. I cannot believe one would remember me commenting that wright was a teacher I'd take again. GRoss. He tries to follow me.
A different day this quarter, guess who shows up right after class again?? I say "go away, leave me alone." IS that not clear enough???? No, he persists... I am clever and go inside girl's restroom.. he says "I'll go in with you"
I say No and you better stay away from me. He argues and everything. Finally, He says, "Friends don't ditch friends!!"When I open the door, a woman has a surprised look inside when she sees him behind me.. he is stopped in his tracks!!
I am thankful and wait five minutes and come back out. Guess who's there still?
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!! I am so pissed!!
I keep trying to escape and start toward parking structure, and I warn him to NOT FOLLOW ME TO CAR OR ELSE. He has a bag and tries to give it to me (full of gifts, I think). I refuse the bag and keep walking. Finally, right before the parking structure, I tell him that if he doesn't get the hell away from me, I am going to scream... (it's crowded at school). He leaves.

Okay, this quarter: I am receiving NUMEROUS emails from this creep. How does he have my email addy? Well, the school's email system is like this: first initial + last name at uci.edu
Simple. everyone's is the same address. So, of course, being in my class once, he knows my name.

I have had my share of stalkers, but this is GROSS. What do I do?
The first advice from my friend was: DOn't reply to his emails. I been ignoring his emails, but he keeps sending them. I could block his addy, but I kind of want to be "aware" if he emails me so I have tabs on what is going on. I want to be 'ready" if he tries anything crazy at school. Like if he says, "I'm gonna get you" Then I'll know. Well, that was only an example.
The emails won't stop! I never told/don't want to tell my boyfriend, because he will be jealous and blame me for being nice, etc. BUT I'M NOT NICE TO THIS GUY! Well, my bf doesn't understand...so that is not an option.
What do i do?? help!!

He and I used to be hella close, but we've been having problems lately due to my being miserable (probs adjusting to sickness). So, we are working on things currently. I know I should have told bf from the beginning!! Shame on me! But he is the jealous type, (nonviolent), and he will get pissy at me. Yeah, so I am still wrong, but want to rid this nuisance... grr...rrrr...

**** one of these stalker incidents happened at my school too...pasadena city college...he got caught and put on front page of our news paper...hahahah...i think he went to jail and bail is set at 150,000 bucks...

yea that stocker at pcc was arrrested,, he looked really creapy... well there are alot of incidents around pcc, due to stocking... like this one teacher called the police because a former student was threatening other students, there are just some really weird people out there, just watch out, they might just go bazerk... i suggest if this keeps up any longer, just tell him to stop stocking out, and this is your finial warning, and if he does it any more, just tell the campus police everything, and they should hadle it, and you might finially need a restraing order...

is this guy skinny and dorky...

p.s. tell him you are not his friend, nor want to be his friend.

just tell him straight up, you dont like him, you dont want to be his friend, you dont ever want to see him again. guys are stoopid, you cant just give hints. you need to be blunt and straight to the EXACT ****in point.
same thing was happening to my friend, i told her to act like she's on the fone with her bf and say "bye baby i love you" when she see's him coming. but then this wouldnt work cause he's just interested in you as a friend..
so ya you should go with the first suggestion, just tell him to F.UCK OFF. either he's a really big loser that has no friend or your just that damn good. haha...
but ya you got pepper spray and tazer, whats there to worry about..
oh and another thing was, LET him walk you to your next class... BUT have a big friend waiting for him on the way there... n ya your friend should know want to do

1. Save all of his emails. Don't respond
2. Contact the police immidiately, and show them the emails and say everything you've told us with even more detail
3. Tell boyfried. If boyfried gets jealous, get new boyfriend.
4. If you see him again and he approaches you, tell him flat out. I'm not you're friend and we will never be friends. I demand that you leave me alone. I have already contacted authorities on this matter, and you are only hurting the situation further. I you continue to persist I will have to take further legal action. I want to have absolutely no contact whatsoever: verbal, physical, or written. Then walk away. Don't tell him what a loser he is or that you're going to get a bunch of guys to beat his a**. This will only make the situation worse. State just he facts that you want no contact and thats it. This way you have completely established that you want no contact with him. If he continues to do anything, your case is even that more valid.

Don't take this lightly. You should have reported this a lot earlier. My mom used to deal with rape counseling and a lot of cases started out this way, and the women kept saying if he does it again I'll report it. You need to report this guy immidiately. i totally agree with greatcasa. he is 100% right about all of it. you need to save everyting and go to the authorities now. stop putting it off or thinking it will go away. it will only get worse. plus, you are just going to keep getting more and more pissed and freaked out about it each day and eventually YOU may do something you will regret to him. so before he does anything to you or you do anything to him, get it taken care of, turn him in.

Greatcasa, you have given me great info. I am saving all of his recent emails and will save anymore that come my way. I plan to call the police, although I cannot make a real report, at least I can have proof later on, if need be, that I did report something...
If he follows me in person, I will tell him everything ya told me.

But on a lighter note, telling him that a car gang beating him up is funny.. hahahaha..

PS: yeah, some guys at uci are super creepy. i'm like a creep magnet. one guy from enterprise rent a car (i rented a car ONCE) kept trying to stalk me with my info from when i rented a car. that's like so ILLEGAL to misuse info.

I'd go with greatcasa's advice.

and your b/f shouldn't be a jealous ***** about this, this is rather serious. I mean I'm the jealous type, but I'd draw a line and try to not be pissy and whiny.

you should also go to the school authority.

check with campus police to see what your options are, and in many instances these are sexual harrassement, and I'm sure thats against UCI's policy.

I'd check with the school officials and file a formal complaint about your fellow student there.

in either case, dont just ignore, REPORT!

also, dont make threats back to him, when you acknowledge him, he gets attention and he'll be grasping for more.

The first place I would go to is the Campus police. You pay a hella lot of money to attend school, and they do have a responsiblity for your safety. But they cannot do anything if you do not let them help you.

Stalking and other violence among students is a very real and dangerous issue. Many schools have taken numerous steps to help avoid situations from esculating to a higher level, namely assault or rape. You should never under estimate the level of violence this person may be capable of.

He has already displayed several key warning signs that should not be taken for granted. Everyone displays interest in another person from time to time. And sometimes, the feeling of interest is not mutual. A rational person tries to get to know a person, and if it does not work out, he or she moves on.

Some points to consider:
1. A rational person does not take someone else's term paper.

2. A rational person does not attempt to follow another person of the opposite sex into a bathroom.

3. A rational person would not consistently send emails without any response.


WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NOW. Go to your campus police or school counselor now. Don't wait until tomorrow, go now. Tell the person what is happening and that you are beginning to feel for your personal safety. Not only will you find a professional trained in how to handle this, but realize that the school has to cover themselves as well. They have to take steps to protect you. And I am sure that they will be much more logical and prudent than most.

Please go now, I have seen what happens when it gets out of hand. Eugene is obviously living in some sort of fantasy world and he needs help.
