Recommended hot spots?

Recommended hot spots?
I am gonna be coming out to San Diego for a week next month on a business trip and I wanted to know if any of you can recommened any hot spots that I should try to hit up while I am there......We are gonna be staying on some island resort ( the Corronado, I think ) so it would probably be best to find some spots close to that...I probably wont have a car so any local transportation tips would be helpful too.....I have never been to Cali so I figured I would ask the people who know it the best.........Any tips you all can give are appreciated, thanks

Rep Power: 416 san diego is way down south.. not too many members from there, probably 7 the most..
not much to do there except hit up the beach. alot of people goto TJ(tijuana, mexico). i think its only like a 30-60 mins drive.

Rep Power: 0 Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Downtown is pretty hot. HIN is on the 15th of february which would be a hot spot. Also there is on broadway(Club) which is pretty good.
