Go to Sports mart or somthing i'm geting a great sims bord for $280 and it's a 159 or mabye i will get the 164 i don't know but it's a good bord for a good price and it look's cool.

IM BROKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Skidazzle killed me! i spent 240 for a forum destroyer 158", 100 for drake bindings, 140 for northwave boots, 100 for burton pants, 100 for helix jacket, 40 for gloves, 2 admissions tickets (for free bear mountain lift tickets) i think 24 bucks, 3 dollars for chippin in for parking, pool game afterwards for 6 bucks, and steak and all you can eat shrimp at sixxler for 16 dollars. man, im tired... someone add that add up for me...

i know burton, k2, sims, santa cruz boards are good but how about
lamar, liquid, kemper, ride, world industry, fusion?
i'm thinking about getting a lamar cruzer(last years), its only $140. i dont know about buying boots/bindings online tho, i want to feel how comfortable the boots are and i want to see how easy the bindings strap on/off

oh and i saw a burton cruzer(last years again) for $100 didnt get it cause it was a 141, kinda too small...

oh and why you in cali? going to school here? ya, and it is a pain sending cars over.. shipping it costs ALOT and driving it over yourself can be boring...i dont even think you have to get the car registered here.. my friend had his bike for maybe a year now and it still is registered under arizona, he bought it(used) in cali too...

fellow chick boarder here...been riding for about 7 seasons....took last season off so dont know how ill do this season....i have a burton t-deck 148 that i bought in 95 at ski dazzle for $100.00 great place to buy boards! right now i ride my 98 jamie lynn lib tech 155. love that board much more then my burton...much lighter...

did you all hear that summit bought out bear mountain? it is suppose to be just a snowboard park...which should be great because summit makes a great park!

only thing about burton is they have that 3-d thing and not the 8 pack...
i thought it was the other way around, bear mount bought summit... either thats phat.. bear mount is supposed to be all park while summit is more family/begginner oriented.

n a chick who fixes up her car n snowboards... why cant i find a girl like that.. hell, why cant i just find a girl.. only thing more of a 'turn-on' is chicks that ride bikes.. but ya gotta love snowboarder chicks... hehe sorry i'm dying at work...

Damn, it took me long enough to respond back to this forum. Hey VNIL, did you end up getting a board? All of those that you named seem to be kool. If it was my choice I'd get a "RIDE" brand.

Anyway, the car insurance is under my Dad's name here in Texas. The title is under my brother's name b/c he's the one who brought me to buy the car. I'll be going there to finish off High school so I can get in state tuition to college (one year residency). Anyway the car thing is kinda of complicated, but do you think I can still run Texas plates, and if i get pulled over just say that I'm visiting with my Dad, but he had to go back to Texas for awhile? I have no idea haha.... Its gonna take some adjusting to moving...

oh your still in high school? what school do you goto? ya college costs alot for people living out of state... and as for resgistering your car here.. dont even worry about it. your perfectly fine driving around with texas plates. even if they do hassle you, ya just say your visiting. i mean if you had plates from china or something i'd see a problem but its just another state so it should be fine

actually i am learning to ride bikes haha. i just bought a 02 VFR800.

and no summit bought out bear. summit draws in so much more money then bear does. i went to bear like 2 times and was able to park right in front were as for summit we get there 30 min. before it opens just to park in the top parking lot. plus my brother is a fireman up there so he told me that haha.

plan on doing anything to it? my friend got into an accident with his so he hooked it up with the insurance money... silver/white carbon fiber exhaust, euro tail(no not altezza, it replaces the turn signals that stick out and put them on the body of the car so theres nothing sticking out), this dark orange paint job.. i want one too but my pops being a typikal asian parent he said no... i'll probably get one when i move out(which probably wont be awhile [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]).. i want to take that cc rider class just so i know how to ride one..

n my badd.. i knew someone bought someone but wasnt sure who.. no wonder why bear mnt is turning into a full terain park..

well the 02 turn signals dont stick out anymore so i wont be replacing the lights. i bought it for 11k. its the red one. thing is sweet...it has a Vtec in it. looking for a new exhaust for it so it will be loud :-)

and yeah with any luck bear will be much better then it was....im kinda hoping they level it out some because its not all the fun to ride straight down all the time...ya know...im not much of a park rider although i go through with my friends to take pictures of them. ill do a few jumps here or there but i like just to cruise down the mountain

i am 28.

and the bike is more then just a toy. it is a daily driver for my boyfriend who commutes from redlands to l.a. 4 days a week. so he rides it to avoid traffic for hours. plus you cant beat the gas mileage. 5 bucks nearly fills him up and he only does so once maybe twice a week depending on how much him and i go riding

i dunno bout driving 6 hours with people i dont know(in person).. i'm the shy quiet, keep it to himself type guy. so ya going up there for the weekend with strangers wouldnt work too well with me. nice(thanks) offer tho..

i finally got my board.. its a lamar blazer.. got if for 109 new. not badd eh..
now i just need boots and bindings.. kinda looking at the lamar mx125, saw it at big 5 for like $80 or so, not sure if its still on sale. the boots i have no idea what to look for... probably get an airwalk or dc
