7thgencivics @ speedzone
just wondering if anyone here was @ speedzone lastnight (9-7-02) around 10ish. i saw a few 7th gens there. there were 2 white ones, a sedan and a coupe and the coupe reminded me alot of jooleesaur's civic.

..i was there..haha...i was there from about...9:30 till 11:30ish. i was supposed to go to the meet, but it was my cousin's birthday. we were going out to eat, but ended up at speedzone. ....i dont remember seeing any other 7thgens there though.

....i went up there w/ four other cars. one of my friends brought his del sol. did yah guys see it? i think it was the only one there and it had "over rev" on the side of it. im jealous of his car. haha. that thing is fast. real fast.

i saw like 3 or 4 of them...but i didn't drive mine, rode with a friend.
aahhh the slick track is so fun both driving and watching my friends run themselves into the walls or pulling some 360-720s...hehe

oh yeah..i remember now....you're the one who had the buddy who decided to take a picture of me getting in my car right?
haha....yeah..the slick trax are fun. its funny when ppl driving into each other. or drive straight into the barrels. we drove on another track. one of our freinds were working so he gave us our second runs for free.

yea that was me...only i think it was NBPcivicEX's friend who took the shot, cause they were all in my car...if not then it was a friends of ours who came in the WRX.

well, i have the kaminari kit.
and yeah..a meet around the speedzone area is a good idea. cuz at least....if you get bored, there's something to do. and everybody can out out to the slick trax and "race"

Rep Power: 0 hmm...i know someone planned one when i first became a member of this site and the turn out wasn't that good...but if we get another one like jeff's ikea meet then all do that short cruise over to speedzone, that'll be cool...imagine a whole line of civics parked at speedzone all together...Oooohhh..haha...hmm...maybe i should try my luck at organizing one...
how much was the kaminari kit with paint and everything and where did u get it? i'm thinking of getting that kit or the tsunami one.

i think i paid too much for my kit. so im not going to sayhow much i got it for. haha. im ashamed [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]
but i got it from ak1motorsport. they're in azusa, i think. somewhere around that area. and i got it installed and painted for $250. my friends own overrev so they did it for me. i wouldve gotten the kit from them, but they couldnt get it for cheap, so i had to get it from somewhere else. but when i think about it.... i spent more on my rims and tires than i did on the kit and paint. so i dunno....how much would the kaminari kit usually be though? i know kaminari retails it at around $850....glad i didnt pay that..haha.
