one quick ?
I was talking to one one the dudes at SpeedZone here in Tacoma, Wa. Homeboy said that him and his friends dropped in a 99 civic si engine on a 2001 civic and it was a hella of a lot cheaper the the rsx swap. At first I was Like " no" but he kept up and said it could be done. Now the olny swap I know of is the K20 but im not Bill Gates. Was I looking like the douchebag and I'm wrong about the civic si swap not possable or was speedzone boy pulling my chain??? In other words can it be done or not? And dont say seach, because I suck at that, and I always end up in the same place (playboy). any info would be rad

Hmmmm. . . that's a VERY valid question. . . . and I'd love to get the answer to that, myself!!!
Sure beats trying to mount an engine/tranny combo 180 degrees off-axis!

This is a rumor, but there was a 7th gen in Asia that had a B-series swapped in with pics. Looked legit. After some investigating, I found that in Asia and the UK, they sell the 7th gen civic with a 1.6L engine. Is it like the old 1.6 D-series? I don't know. I have emailed a dealership in the UK to give me the exact engine code, but still have not heard back from them yet. If you go to honda.co.uk, you'll see the Civic (3dr/5dr) 1.6i ES. Might be interesting to get some more info...
