Just Wanted 2 Get Feed Back On What The Best Times Ppl Have Gotten On There 2k1civic On The Quater Mile

Rep Power: 417 someone said he was at the track last time and saw a 7thgen do 14s... not sure whos car it was, i'm guessing either moocow, hiteks or alberts... havnt tested out my car yet but i'm sure i'm around the 17s or even 18s as well since my car is stock, auto and have 18s(with soon to have a big subs in the trunk). hehe as you can see i'm more of 'show' then 'go' when it comes to our civics

Rep Power: 0 Moocow and doing 14's. No way. Not with his setup and his sounds in his trunk. Even if he shot 50 of laughing gas, I dont think he would do 14's. Correct me if I'm wrong someone if you saw him actually run 14's. I'm not hating just speaking from reality.

but why isn't it possible with his car? he does have turbo(even tho its only 5 psi) and is spraying nos(i know its venom but i swear do not correct me saying its "nitrous" cause i still call it nos, short for nitrous, not the brand). he has an LX and does have a system but its not much, he has what 10w0s? his carbon fiber hood makes up for that lil weight. and our cars are supposed to run high 16s stock anyways so 14s doesnt sound impossible if it was his car.

Rep Power: 0 Hey Pt that 16.6 is pretty fast for stock considering amianimportracer and his v6 stang with a little over 200hp got beat by a 2000 civic si with an intake and a vtec controller. That si ran a 16.4.

Rep Power: 417 i would think an SI would do a lil better tho, maybe high 15s or low 16s. when driving a manual, alot of it is on the driver tho.
but ya as for autos racing, just break torque to get that fast start... i know i know, many of you may say why race with autos but sometimes you just cant resist the person next to you in a neon, staring at your car.

i did the power braking...im goin to put my stock wheels on in a few weeks for winter so ill get new tires on them and take it to the track..should be in the 16's and i might try to get my ebrake tighten to get it to hold me while i rev to bout 4k rpms
i also might make a custom intake box to hold out hot air from engine and get cold air

Rep Power: 0 This saturday(21) an sunday(22) the track is open for racing....i will be there with someother friends....two of my friends have 7thgencivics...we will be there Sunday morning...u should try an make it out there.

Rep Power: 0 they let u start racing at like 9 i believe...but u can show up earlier than that....we got there at 8 one time...an just let the engine cool down for that hour till they let us race around 9.

Rep Power: 0 me, vxrage, an nightkids1 are gonna be there for sure in the morning...those 2 will be there probably around 8:30 an i should be there shortly after....they wont be hard to find...they are usually the only 7thgencivic's there.
