one of my friends has a G-tech thing....he used it right before he raced at the track...said he was gonna run low 16s...got to the track and he ran low 17s...lol...i dont think those things are very accurate

15.4 with stock you are already god. Do you guys think a 2.0 liter with i-vtec can make a coupe go 15.4?

there is a "civic excite" sedan 2.0 with i-vtec. If it was a coupe would you think it can even reach 15.4?

to be fair here we talk about stock honda engine...
otherwise with hardcore modification there are civics with 10 and less 1/4 mile time. Here are some crazy story. Can we consider those civic a honda civic? I mean with all this mod...

01.03.2003 - Pacific Performance Black and Silver Civic will be getting a transplant.

The Pacific Performance Black and Silver Civic Coupe will be getting a transplant next week. A B20 block is getting the full Pacific work over. The block has been fortified with REV’s new light weight connecting rods, JE 11.5:1 84.5mm pistons, STR Cylinder Brace, Type-R oil pump, and Honda bearings. A new GSR Modified Manifold, Cylinder head porting design along with REV's Prototype valve train will be put together to create some serious RPMs in which Horsepower will follow.

Dang DarkSider i guess it might be me but hey i ran 16:5 with a cold air intake and guting the interior with some good 16 inch wheels with good tires my sis was able 2 get it down 2 16:2 and she was able 2 take out a eclipse gs at the quater mile run

Look i know this might not be something ppl will belive but here it goes
last night i was on the 60 and traffic was hold up well once it was open i was driving like 80 normal for me then a white crx si like a 89 pulled up i said h*** naw i down sifted from 5 to 3 and was guning it all the way i hit fourth and from there it was all over at fourth i hit 120 then i slowed down then theres a lexus is 300 the older model with tvs all over and we went at it i kid you not i he was only a car and a half in front of me. Well he took me out then a mustang gt the new model pulled up and lined up and i down shifted again to third and he was gone about a two cars but then a again i got 2 fourth and it was all over again at 120 still on fourth gear going down i finally caught up and took him by a car i couldnt belive it i knew he was pushing it all cause i looked at him and i heard him gun it again but it was nothing more he could do tell me if that is crazy night ....

just adding my 2 cents. I ran 16.4 at 86 mph. It was my first time ever drag racing, but i have an 02 ex w/ 15 lbs 17" wheels lowered, short ram intake, cat back, and gutted trunk/ removed back seat. Reaction time was .7
