The first official event is at the end of March at Buttonwillow fallowed by Vegas and then Autoclub at the end of May, if it is the same as this year. Hopefully you'll at least make Atoclub in Fontana. Your car doesn't have to be perfect. I'd just do the best you can with suspension and tire.

They were great, very experienced and friendly. Of the three, two spoke between every trial on Saturday. They even offered to sit in your car and instruct you or drive your car and show you themselves. I had one of the guy in my car for a couple laps and I learned a ton. Basically, the less steering movement the better. Also don't shift so much, only break when going straight, and slowly apply the gas during corner exit were just a few of the things i learned.
