How to clean the headlight

I have noticed recently that my headlights are kinda hazy.. how can i make it crystal clear like when the car was new?
any ideas?
any cleaning formulas that will get rid of it?

Meguiars PlastiX works great. keeps my headlights nice and fresh.

Thanks. I used this tread from vwvortex http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2485084
and this morning i bought 600grit, 2000 grit, 3m rubbing compound, Meguiars Plastix and after 30 minutes of arm grease labor, my head light is like-new again!
