no i got the tools, just not that one tool for taking off the brake line, the one that looks like it wraps around the hole nut so it wont strip. or do i not need it? i'm not someone that doesnt have general tools if thats all i need to do. cmon now derrick....

its wierd, it only squeals when i first brake a few times when i start it from cold, otherwise its good to go and no sounds at all... what would cause something like this? if its bearings, shouldn't it always make noise?

do you have ceramic brakes? ceramic brakes squeal when there cold and the sound goes away once there warmed up. If u think its bearings, just jack up the car and spin the wheel. if it spins too freely then you need new bearings. I doubt it bearings. My integra went 189k before it needed a new bearing and that was just one.

I've seen 15yr old civics still on the original drums, so i doubt its drums either.

you can use a regular wrench to get the brake line off. I did, just be very very careful b/c those things strip very very easily.

that hex looking wrench is like a couple of bucks only at the local autozone, go buy one if you're paranoid, but a regular wrench will work. Do it very slowly and don't force it.
