I have Akebono brake pads and love them. I gotta bleed my brakes again though.

where do you guys get those brake pads from? i need to check mine soon since its making a funny noise. and i need to learn how to bleed brakes, so i can install my brake lines -__- ive been putting it off since forever... lol..

you should. its recommended that you bleed everytime you touch the brake system

well i havnt replaced mine since i got the car, but for my parents car the last time we did it the guy bled the brakes.

I got my pads from placeforbrakes (i think placeforbrakes.com)
Well, it is recommended to do so, but try pumping the brakes a few times to feel it out. If it is soft, then you should bleed them out.

well i just got my rear brakes done about 2 weeks ago so im sure the mechanic bled them... or at least i hope. Ill test them later on today though John. Thanks for the info John and Kenzos

hanzo go to autozone and get the durlast cermanics they have a lifetime warranty. the rotors they sell also have a 2year warranty so beat on the rotors and brakes for a year then swap them out for new rotors and pads
