hmm well my HID warranty is about up and i was re-thinking if i should try and send mine in for a swap. because if i do, they can always reject me saying theres nothing wrong and send it back but i have to pay for shipping to and from them. which is $10 both ways. i bought my HIDs for $65 + relay for $25 so roughly $90 for my kit. but if i spend $10 and they reject me saying its fine... i lose another $10. and new ballast are $23 on ebay... and a new kit on ebay is $55~$60. what should i do?

just buy a new ballast for $23. Its better just to spend $23 to know you have a new ballast that works rather then gamble on $20 to see if you get a new ballast or not. Because you dont geta new one, your gonna spend a total for $43 paying for the $20 shipping and the $23 for a new ballast. So on the shipping issue your really risking $43 or a return of $23.

yeahh so im planning to just wait it out, until it finally breaks, then buy a new ballast. even though the repair shop is suppose to be in garden grove... should i take it down there? because if i ship, it'll be $10 and gas and time is just about the same. but i think its just cheaper to not try and ship because even though im still covered in *warranty*, paying more for something not guranteed is just...blahhh

i didnt know they were local, if there local just go down there some time and get it exchanged. you drive a civic, the whole trip should only cost you less then $5 in gas.
