Im looking to get one. I dont want the portable ones. I would like to get the double din one. Right now i have panasonic 72000u which is great to watch DVDs and TV but i also would like navigation. Also, the flip out(in-dash) screens block the AC so i want to change to double din.So... my questions are...

Which ones are good ones? used is ok.
Does anyone know where i can get a hook up?
What is the price range? i only want to spend around $500.
How hard is it to install?

I was thinking about getting the ECLIPSE 5435.

if its around 500, i really say the AVIC-d3

its a bit more, but well worth it.

Pioneer is the only affordable nav double din unit youre going to find. And youre not going to find any nav double din for close to $500. I get a fat hookup on the avic-d3, and my price isnt even $500. The retail on it is $1000.

It cost me more than $500 and I made my own and bought the components separate to save money...so you may just wanna stick with your panasonic for now bro till you get the funds

i have the pioneer avic-z1 and i LOVE IT! i had to get the special edition front panel from honda which ran me about 60 bucks since the 02 vic is a din and a half, not a full double din.

probably around 700ish.

but for 700, id much rather get a carputer. (and im actually selling my AVIC-D1 for a carputer upgrade....mac mini baby )
