What are the Warranty's for New cars these days? i herd it was 3 years or 36,000 miles? i have a 04 and the coolent is leaking, the thing is it doesnt drip on the floors or anything, and it smells like burnt plastic everytime i park my car after a drive. do anyone have any idea what is the problem? and should the warranty cover my car? i have 31,000 miles.

Are you sure it is the coolant?

You don't see coolant and you smell plastic. What makes you assume that it is your coolant?

Do you have any plastics around hot areas like near your header? ie. wire loom, wires, etc.?

the plastic smell is most likely u got a plastic bag that got stuck to your exhaust and is now melting after it gets hot...it happened to me b4...it'll burn off in a lil bit tho...and the coolant that isnt coolant its condensation from ur a/c when u use it alot...its normal...

ic, well i just found out that the coolant is alrite, but im not 100% sure yet. im scared if u blew a head gasket. but yea, ive looked around and no, there arent any plastic things in my engine bay...wires too and no plastic bag by the exhaust. thanks.
