i don't know of any difference, but i'm about to have my THIRD windshield put in byb Honda. All i have had to pay was the deductable.
Windshield 1 - rock off the back of construction truck (dump-truck style)
Windshield 2 - branches fell from tree and cracked it
Windshield 3 - hopefully NOTHING!!!!

Actually is a slight differences.....on the aftermarket one there is a sun-visor located on top, Honda does not. Also if you run your fingers along the glass, you will feel the aftermarket one a little more wavy. I don't know if this is the same one we are taking about but I noticed all this on mine, after is has been replaced.
