WTF!!!! Ive never seen a bodyshop do that before. They should have cut the whole rear quarter panel off and replace it with a new one and replace the whole door. Im not sure if its gonna come out good........

they should have replaced the whole outer door skin not just cut out the center section. and he is right about the rear 1/4 too. my neighbor has been a body guy for 20+ years he cringes when he sees stuff like that. they are just trying to cut a corner to make more money. it would actually take just as much time or less to do it the right way. now that isnt dsaying they wont pull it off but that certainly isnt the way it should be done

I am 100% sure that they will replace the whole door skin. I think they just cut it away to get better access to the seams.
The rear quarter is alot harder to tell.

good deal man i have seen some shady body shops that will do anything to save money on parts and make it in their pocket. my buddy took his truck in and he ended up with paper clips holding on his bumper valance a bunch more shyt but i wont get into that

no... hedoesn't have the resources to do this kind of work. i have type S 16's on, but they had to refinish that rear rim. so they put a 16inch 99-00 acura TL rim

its all good, the cars ready and fixed with a whole new side and my lip kit is all painted and My neighbor is going to paint my CF hood to put on.. my car is going to be as good as brand new... im going to pick it up monday because i wanna take this rental to vegas this weekend...

lets just say i have this friend who needed body work to this car he barrowed... and uh, my neighbor bondoed and painted the work and it came out like i went to a body shop.. the work is perfect...

usually the EXTRA insurance you buy will cover anything, you did get the extra full coverage insurance for like $5 more a day didnt you!!! i know people that have "borrowed" cars and completely mangled them and the person that they "borrowed" it from took care of all the damage at no charge because of the EXTRA full coverage ins.

next time get the insurance and it wont matter waht happened. we rented a fullsize chevy once and went to occotillo with it. i don think i need to say much more. but they took it back and fixed everything i assume becasue i never heard a word back from them

my insurace will cover anycar i drive, so i wasn't worried, but the accident would have cost more to go threw them...

yup, my neightbors side. haha, he has a air compressor, he does it in my drive way or his garage...

same here a huge air compressor every tool imaginable and the knowledge t back it up. his wife works corporate at kawasaki and he just works on his bikes, jet skis, and all his cars all day.
