ive had all the parts from a previous retro that went sour. so it only cost me beer and food for the guy from hidplanet who helped me out. i think im going to replace the driver side projector with another valeo d2s later though. i couldnt get the color i wanted even with the shield bend. that guy normally charges 200 for the actual labor, or 400 including harness and installation. he also sells teh harness alone for 60 bucks. he also sells ballasts and bulbs and everything. if anyones interested let me know. im trying to learn more and more but it aint easy.
[QUOTE=SEVYN]the 04-05 projectors don't work that well with HIDs.. but you guys use the Valeos that come off of them.. i dont get it...was it just the housing that sucks and not the lens?
ahhhhh.. confused.

[QUOTE=D5cIvIc] well the 04-05 projector headlights will work well regardless because if you do a retrofit you replace those projectors with either valeos, or e55 bixenons. the stock tyc projectors for the 01-03 are pieces of *****. completely useless.
