yeah...its pretty noticeable. I mean...its just an intake..so its not gonne feel like you slapped on a turbo or anything...but you know what I mean. AND, its LOUD AS HELL!! haha. Thats the biggest reason its gonna be hard for me to get rid of, you can hear over my exhaust. lol.

yeah. the parking lot's asphalt was a lot slicker than the street ... when rob was driving my car it was screeching, I was like "wtf?" because it never does that.

surprisingly, I couldn't hear my own car unless I was directly behind it ...

alright, so guys i got my Injen CAI installed and took a trip to vegas this weekend, man o man the intake sounds great especially at 5k rpm and then again at 6k rpm, sounds mean as hell. This makes me wanna get some headers and the Greddy EVo 2 exhaust. Are most of you guys going again tomorrow night? Im hungry for dem wings lol

yo, four twenty (what is your real name, btw? haha) ... if you're interested, my friend is selling a BRAND NEW, never been used DC sports race header (4-2-1, by passes the cat and bolts straight up to your exhaust) for $350 ... if you're interested ... this goes for anyone here too. It's for a D17, EX model... or those with EX conversion exhausts (*ahem, rob haha)

normal price for this header is around $380 + s/h I believe.

hmmm does it bolt right on to the stock EX exhaust? I believe the piping is 1.5", or would i need to get a cat back system with something like 2.5" piping? Oh yeah btw my name is Ryan, for all of you that didnt remember, we all know how that goes lol

yes, it bolts straight up to the EX exhaust ... haha. I already said that ;P you don't NEED a bigger exhaust to run it, but I would recommend it since you're gonna be flowing a lot more air.

on a side note ... your profile says you have a 2.5" tsudo exhaust ... do you not have that?

I do... and i am considering re-installing it. A few months ago i got pulled over for that exhaust and since its not CARB exempt i got written up for that and my ebay intake. That is why i have since removed that Tsudo setup and installed an Injen CAI. I liked the way that exhaust sounded too, what would you guys suggest? Should i installed the old Tsudo exhaust and save some money or go with a legal solution like Greddy or something?

And you know what the messed up part is on my ticket it said i needed to go to a state referee to be inspected, i did and i failed because of my intake but have not re-tested since installing the Injen. I went to court last friday before heading out to vegas and was fined $336 and did not even need to show that i passed inspection, so technically i could have left everything on illegally abd just paid the $336 fine, that sucks

exhaust systems don't have carb numbers. california air resources board (carb) knows this. I think the reason they don't issue carb numbers is that they have little to do with smog and there are so many different types of exhausts and exhaust systems that it would be difficult to issue out so many (full catbacks...axlebacks ...mufflers...custom...etc)

I think a tsudo would be too loud. If I were you, I would put the 2.5" tsudo piping on there and then run a 2005+ rsx type S muffler and get custom piping on that (because it won't fit) ... it'll still be pretty quiet, while pretty high flowing and maintaining a stock look.

on the other note ... let me know if you want the header ... I can bring it tomorrow if you want to buy it

the exhaust idea isnt a bad one, i guess i could go to a pick a part or look for a parted or junked RSX for the exhaust. For now dont worry about the DC Sports header as i spent too much in vegas this weekend lol. In a few weeks if he still hasnt sold it ill probly pick it up.

also on antoher note, what does everyone think about the Ebay fogs. They run for like $30 shipped and come with the stock looking ON/OFF button. Is there much difference between the ebay version and the one from http://www.handa-accessories.com/civext01.html? other than the $200 some odd dollars, if its that much better than the ebay fogs ill get em but i just dont see the justification in spending that much for fog lights if there isnt much difference.
