Are you sure?
I remember it being around that much per LITER when I went there 2 years ago.
In Tokyo that is...not sure elsewhere.

In Anaheim you can find it for 2.52 a gallon...a big drop from 2.79 a few weeks ago.

Right now around here the cheapest is $2.19...and as for why it's so cheap...it's economics my good man...the Govt. (or the Man as I like to call it) is trying to get the public in the mood of spending and not worrying about gas prices....you know in preparations for Christmas...so if people don't have to worry about driving and waisting gas...they'll start thinking about spending more on gifts and useless junk...

$2.65 a gallon is dirt cheap!!!

In other countries, people have a much lower income and pay $1.80 per LITER. In other words, $6.66 per gallon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

or roughly $80 to fill up the Civic with 12 gallons.

Lucky me, sucks to be YOU!

Near my school campus in Summit, MS...the Shell gas station is selling $2.27/gal and the same goes in Hattiesburg. LOL! Sucks to be YOU! I moved out of Cali at the right time but sucks enough to be hit by Hurricane Katrina. Gas around this area only goes as high as $2.79, thats IT! Play it smart, not dumb...HOOAH?

i doubt the ep's gas tanks are diffrent from ours, since honda loves to keep all their parts the same in all their cars

^ it's called gouging.

gas stations have incorrectly calibrated pumps to make more money. I've seen pics of 7g's filling up 14+ gallons

13.2 for the EP3 also, that's straight from Honda's repair manual. I could see you filling it to 13.33 but if you ever hear of someone getting 15 gallon fill ups you better question the accuracy of the gas station and call the State on them for ripping you off.
