Clutch and flywheel?????????????

Does anyone know where they lighten your stock flywheel and how much it costs. And a good place to get the clutch installed for a good price as well.

I dunno about lightening your flywheel, but you can get a clutch installed at any reputable shop ... AMS in Irvine is one example.

it's not gonna be cheap though ...

They probably would grind it down, but they will advise against it. I can can ask my girlfriend (her dad owns the shop) but she is very unreiliable in asking her dad and telling me, but i see him tomorrow and i can ask for you. The price i can also ask. I paid 230, but that is bcuz that is all i had in my wallet at the time and i was only expecing to get oil changed and clutch the following week.

Yourinmyw0rld has a clutch and flywheel for sale, in case you're looking. It's a racing one, which means yes, it is lighter.

in order to make a stock flywheel light enough to matter you have to take off ALMOST too much. That is to say its really easy to make it too thin, and have the flywheel crack and break into a gajillion pieces. Plus, if they dont shave it COMPLETLY even, it will be off balance and really **** stuff up over time.

Its only about 100 bucks more to buy a real lightweight flywheel (the 12lb ACT streetlite flywheel is a good bet for low torque NA honda motors... its quite a bit lighter then the stock 22lb one, but not TOO light). I believe I paid 199 for mine after shoping around online for the best priced.
