Listening to KIIS FM this morning on the way to school with my buddies, we heard that they were gonna call in again with that whole flowershop facade in order to find out if one of their listeners is being on cheated on by her husband.
Turns out that sleezeball was cheating on his wife, and he openly admitted to it! He lied to her, telling her that he got a new promotion in which he has to work late nights, but when she called one night to ask him something, she was told that he never got such a promotion
. Turns out he was sending the flowers to Tarry, not his wife Nicole. When he was asked what he wanted the card to say, he replied, "umm.... hm....... well.... let's do.... 'Looking forward........ ..... looking forward to our vacation.'"
. The KIIS lady then asked, "where are you going?" He said "Mexico", and all hell broke loose
.
Such a terrible situation. I'm like getting scared of relationships now
.
I hate that guy, btw.... [not really, but

]My point is, the two of us have nothing to hide, so if I tried to lie by saying I was working late, eventually she would find out I am not. Then I would be screwed. Chances are that guy was wanting to get out of the relationship he was in if he went that far.

Alright, sorry to say this, but KROQ is soooo middle school for any rock fan. Again, I'm sorry. As far as rock, I'm very passionate about melodic hardcore, to some extent, but my musical horizons are currently expanding to hip-hop/R&B stuff. But I'm kinda a psycho when it comes to music, so forgive me when I say that KROQ is almost 100% retarded.
Do you realize that most of those bands on there do nothing more complex than the basics of rock? And as for their lyrics, I understood them more easily than the childhood book See Spot Run. Pick a KROQ band and I can show you that they probably suck...
Now, why would I listen to KIIS and not Power? I dunno, it's like the white-wash version of hip-hop, and I think I'd fall into that category; I'm a noob to hip-hop, so yeah [even though I just made a remix
]. Also, KIIS's talk show in the morning is entertaining

Damn... This sounds like a pretty cool station. I think i've listened to it before a few years back when I came down there for vacation. I gotta remember the station when I come down to Socal! Btw. what's the frequency for KIIS?
102.7,
i really dont like the radio period, but i think that kiis is worse than kroq or power, that its at the bottom of the food chain. the beat, klos, 103.1 all of those are better but kiis is a younger version of power and kiis combined, and for the morning show imo mark and brian or kevin and bean are way better than rick deez or ryan seacreast combined
none of this is ment to offend

.As far as KROQ, think of listening to things that you can learn to play in seconds, and lyrics you wrote when you were an immature little boy. That's what it feels like for me.
Again, sorry to offend, but I'm a crazy man when it comes to musica.

Hmm... lately, I've been "maturing" or "changing" into a more reserved collection of "favorite" bands. Notice that the list contains no logical genre, and that's just because of the musical trends I've been going through over the last seven years...
Thrice
Home Grown
Slick Shoes [older stuff and the new CD]
Killswitch Engage
Millencolin
The Aquabats
Yellowcard [they are getting better
]
Strung Out, sorta
and now, Usher?
I play the bass, by the way, so you definately can see that I like bands with strong jazz undertones [e.g. Aquabats and the old Home Grown material]. Lyrics are also key for me, and that is why I don't support Atreyu, although their music is well written.

Oh, I like biggie and 2pac, of course. That's like third grade, dude. You sound like a matured metalhead, heh.
And Home Grown did Barbie Girl as a funny cover, but listen to other songs by them. They have developed from a punk/ska style to a pop-punk style recently, but they definately own in that field, too. For punk/ska, listen to Surfer Girl, and just about anything from "Act Your Age". For the new stuff, listen to "Kings of Pop", and for a neato bass line, listen to the song This Way.
Mods are all in the profile: K&N FIPK II, Greddy Evo2, Tein S-tech's, Revo SS, base RSX shift ****, aluminum pedals, black housing headlights; soon to come: Altezza grill [needs paint] and RSX-S rear sway.

Civic. The S-tech's cost me about $156, plus install [I wouldn't do them myself]. I know Street Level Performance has great deals on them, too, but at the time, my parents weren't comfortable with buying something as important as springs [safety] online
