Brakes?
I had my brakes changed before and the shop I took it to replaced my OEM brakes with Bendix. Now, I have this sqeeking noise coming from front passenger wheel. So today I took it to the brake shop and they told me that Bendix is not a good brand because the pad material is metal. And if I would want to change them back to factory it would be $120 for the "Honda" brand and resurfacing the rotors... I just want some input if this was a good deal.
Oh, and are they right?
Thanks
Alan

That sounds kind of high! I spent $65 the last time I got my brakes changed and rotors resurfaced. The squeeking is probably caused by cheap brakes but $120? that seems a little steep!

the place i got it done at said he could have replaced it with oem ones for like $80 so 120 sounds too steep. but then again he is resurfacing the rotors so..

I just bought OEM pads today for $50.
There's a special for Hawk HPS pads, $48.50 shipped in the sales section, that's what I would have done if I was going to keep my car. Just get the Hawks, resurface the rotors for $15 or so, DIY, and enjoy.
