Rep Power: 0 I've had those HIDs for alittle over a year now (about 20,000 miles). I purchased these for $550 and they have been my favorite mod to this day.

check this out.
Capsule rated at 100% output at 0 hours and 70% output at 2000 hours. The odds that a capsule will get as old as 2000 hours is not very likely. For reference, 2000 hours of driving with your lights on at an average of 50MPH is a very long distance:
2000 hours * 50MPH = 100,000 miles. Now assume most people drive their cars at night 1/4 of the time. That is 400,000 miles!
