anyone here like interpol, i just got their new cd and its prettty good. and yes i do llike the indie rock genre. just want to see out of all the 7thgeners whose into this kinda music.

interpol is probably my favorite band right now. under The Strokes though. i went to the kroq concert. it was siiick. but i hated sitting through all those other shitty bands. they made us wait all the way till 10pm, omg. anyway. wow, im surprised you jiggas know interpol.

Antics is a good cd. I still like Turn on the Bright Lights better though. I saw them live at Soma about a month ago (3rd time). They are such an awesome band.

hoavnoanfowfohwa reflekt you bas tard!!! you got tickets. i wanted them soo bad. how was the killers set? and franz ferdinand? ive been wanting to see them sooo bad. i had a chance to be an extra on the set of the O.C. when the killers performed since a good friend some how knows that guy adam brody. but i didnt have time. next time theres a good band on i'll be there for sure for sure. i want to meet that guy adam because thats the only celebrity i'll ever get to meet. well i did shake arnold shawohdsakfkw hand when i went to one of his rallys lol

how are they emo..? they aren't even close to being "emo-ish". emo is epitomized by a band like dashboard confessional. its whining and crying and singing about how sad and pathetic you're life is. that's emo.

Also EMO is a myth. All music is supposed to stir emotion, if it dosen't it sucks. Emo=whinning morons who can't relate to anybody so they make up bs lyrics that will appeal to 14yo girls so they can sell some albums. bleh!

i like emo/screamo. bands like the used and senses fail, what i dont like is pure hardcore. cant really stand hxc. only hxc band i like is underoath, and i like their slow songs lol go figure

i don't really consider any of these new bands like the used, senses fail, etc... emo/screamo bands at all. i come from a different generation of music i guess. i remember going to little whole in the wall places in los angeles (about ten years ago), and seeing bands play to about 20 people and it was real underground. i was looking for an alternative to punk, and that music was real intense and spoke to me. one band in particular that i remember seeing quite a few times was... jawbreaker. sadly alot of bands today... are just recycling and making the music more typical/worse. i wouldn't trade my experience for the bands of yesterday for today, ever! whenever i hear someone say, that band is "emo" i get a good laugh.

i heard a few of jawbreakers song. very good. that is true, the bands like the used, senses fail, afi etc etc are really mainstream. i would consider more popemoscreamocore. lol. my mother should be proud i just invented a word.
