JDM RHD 180sx or keep the civic?

okay... seriously this guy is such an a$$...
he calls me up last night after work and tells me that one of his friends is willing to pay 10 grand for the car.... not only that, the motor that's sitting in the car is a red top sr20det motor from 1994... he told me that if i can beat his friends offer that i can have the car... i was about to hang up the phone right there cause he just upped the price another 4 grand within a matter of 8 hours....
after consulting with a local silvia shop owner, i found out that the car is only worth at the most 5000 dollars even with the registration and mods... he told me that if i were to buy that car, i would seriously be getting ripped off and i should save my money for a 240sx sr20 swap instead for that price...
but we'll see what happens next week when this friend of his miracilously doesn't have the money er something...
