damn man. why is it so hard to get a job?
fack man. ive been asking around almost everywhere to get a job. i dont really care how much it pays as long as i like what im doing. its been a real bitch. everywhere i go always requires some sort of past experience. wtf man. how can one get started if ive never had a real job before. only one place has been good to me, this car audio installation place told me they will consider if they get a lot of customers and i can start sometime this month.
anyone have any decent places i can work at. if not i can always go to mcdonalds or some place like that.

well im surprised cuz around this time usually everyone is hiring, cuz of the holidays, even if they say its seasonal, alot of companies still keep a handful after the season.. just keep applying everywhere... be patient, something will hopefully come soon.... good luck!

If you can't find a job, theres only one other job you can take that most people are too fockin scared to take..."THE MILITARY", hell, Uncle Sam will take good care of ya! But I would recommend joining the Air Force because they're more kicked back unlike the Army and Marines. If you're parents are telling you that they don't want you to go because of all the crazy shiet happening in Iraq, tell them that you're old enough and you're not a baby anymore! Tell them that you're a GROWN MAN now and take control of your OWN LIFE and DECISIONS! I know how Asian families are and I don't blame them for it but they gotta understand, this is America, not freakin Vietnam or some other Asian countries.
Why not try Universal Protective Services? Its a kick back job man and their pay is ok. No experience neccessary and they will train you. Its good while you're going to school too. I thought about working for them again and taking the Supervisor position since I had 2 years of experience supervising my own soldiers as a Assistant Squad Leader.

dannn, you need to keep trying...alot of companies are hiring seasonal employees for the holidays.
I know for some places the first impression they get from you is your penmanship. Equal opportunity yeah yeah still its not 100% by the books ya know?
hmm thanks for the advice.
ive applied at best buy several times over the last year and i get no response not even a phone call or letter.
same thing with borders books and music. they both make you apply online through the website before you actually get a chance at the local one you want to work at.
yea im thinking of just applying at anywhere i can see myself working at. i wont take just any job. it has to be something i can tolerate.

Get the worst possible job you can think of. And no matter how much you want to quit, don't. Stay there and take whatever they're giving you for as long as you can stand it.
Two reasons:
1. Builds up tolerance for doing other peoples work, fixing there mistakes, and chills you out a whole lot faster. If you can put up with that ish you'll be a better person.
2. It will help you focus on the thing you would love to do for a living. If you love your job it dosen't fell like work. That way when people ask you what you want to do you'll have something to say. And usualy if you talk to enough people they can hook you up or help get you were you need to be.
PS those jobs like best buy and target, usually you only get in if you have a realitive or a friend working there all ready. So the internet applications are a waste of time.
Happy hunting.

I think thats their website. Its decent pay man and like I said, its good while you're going to school because in some places, you have time to do your homework while someone else is covering your ****, thats if you have a cool co worker though.
