i'm planning to go to big bear next weekend, not for snowboarding but just travelling around...do you think the road condition to big bear is harsh by that time?Do I have to buy snow chains?

ahh...i have soo many fond memories of mtn high..like when i took out a grandma cuz i couldnt stop..watchin my homie do kartwheel down the mountain..anyone wanna go snowboardin...cuz im always down

snow summit was f*ckin awesome. thats where i took the pic of my car.
plux79, eh it should be fine. I was worried about the whole chain thing too but eh I didnt have a problem. Right now things arent lookin to great as far as snow goes so you probably wouldnt need it.
fuzzy, dude you have to try it. the first day your fallin on your *** 24/7 but its awesome.

Rep Power: 417 Went to mt high and my car got STUCK!
I called mt high and they said all roads were clear so i'm like koo. We go up to mt high and like 20 mins away sure enough there's snow on the road. We were going ok for a little while but then we decided to stop on the side of the road and check how deep it was.. we take pics, make some yellow snow and we're like f*ck it, lets go for it. We try to drive and my car doesnt move at all. that b*tch was stuck, the tires were just spinning. A truck pulled over to help us out, he didnt have any tow cables so we all got on one corner and just pushed the b*tch around and we were good to go. we ended up going back down and little and went to other way and luckily we made it. haha but yeah never thought i'd actually get stuck in snow in cali so found it pretty entertaining...
here are some pics...
On my way back I saw a car slammed into a pile of snow and another car that was flipped over. i think i learned my lesson and will be getting chains from now on.
