Which cell to get?
Does anyone have either one of these? I'm ready to switch over from Nextel, so I need to bling bling. I heard horror stories about my i95 when I got it, nothing came up until just recently. These are both realiable phones, but I can't decide... might just come down to personal preference.

Hey Plux, just becuase its Dual Band doesnt mean that it cant be used in the US. The reason it cant is becuase of the bands that it uses. That LG is dual band, but good for U.S. frequencies. Anyways, I would get the Nokia if it were able to be used here. Instead, go major bling and get the Blueberry 7100 like good ol' Vinnie just showed up there.
What service provider are you going to go with? If you let me know, I can show you some real blingin phones.
This is the phone that I am waiting for and will figuring out a way to use it on the Nextel service.

lol you can't get that phone to work on Nextel chase it's a whole different technology not just a frequency. It's Iden vs GSM and you can't just pop in the sim to make it work because like I said it's a different technology. It's a cool phone though, I wanted it before I switched back to nextel. Whatever you do don't get a Motorola V600 it's such a piece of garbage I had two of them from At&t and they both didn't work right they both had the same problems too (not answering calls Even when repeatedly pressing send) so I suggest getting the Sidekick II I think it's also a cool phone, I might get one just for the data stuff only though (since I have nextel and don't plan on switching ever again), Because unfortunatly nextel only has Blackberry type phone that does E-mail and I Just can't get used to the form factor I'm too used to my old Timeport P935 to have button's exposed all the time.

If going to verizon, the V710 is pretty nice, esp since its tech. is completely different then the V600. I knew the V600 was gonna be a PILE as soon as we got the test phones in like feb, my V400 owned it. Better screen and higher quality calls. My friends who got the phone dont like it, but they like the camera so eh . . .
As far as using the A680, I know its a different technology, but there is such a thing as a reflash and "modding" chips. All depends on how bad I wanna use the phone. It will cost some $$$, but having a phone running on a network that it isnt supposed to be running on is like swapping a K20 into a vic.
