Opinion Question
So I have to ask you guys, what do you think of people of other races dating girls who are of your race/ethnicity?
In other words, would it bother you if a guy of another race/ethnicity was with your sister?

Rep Power: 417 Well maybe another question would be would you MARRY someone outside your race? I mean considering there might be some language barriers between your folks and your wife and just the different traditions and such kinda complicates things.
I'll be honest, back in like jr high and probably the early years of high school, i only checked out asian chicks. I wasnt racist at all or anything its just i never bothered to look outside of my own race ya know. But eh now i'm a lot more open. I really dont think race matters at all. I still have my preference for asians more specifically filipino's(thats just who i'm mainly attracted to) but i'm open to all. Hell as some of ya'll know i've even had an "obsession" with hispanic chicks. They got them hips that just make you go
. Or them cute white chicks i see in valencia. But yeah my parents want me to marry a korean chick but chances of that happening are pretty slim, i think some look good but i'm usually just not attracted to them. I think about how my kids are going to talk to their grandparents or how my wife's family is going to interact with mine or what language is the wedding going to be in but eh I guess those are just little obstacles that shouldnt get in the way of marrying outside your race.

My fam was cool with it, but her fam at first was like who is white boy. But In time they came to love me. Her mom was the hardest to win over but I'm won out after all the drama.
It isn't an easy road to follow but if you and your partner want to it to be, then screw everyone else they'll just have to live with.
When we got marrried we had a biligual minister. She was catholic and I'm agnostic that was another hurrdle. We made do. And afterward Our families broke the communication barriers with alcohol.

anywayz, my wife's Filipino grandma didn't even acknowledge me the first 5 times I was at her house...not a word, and if I was lucky if I got a nod.
...but then now, I refuse to eat her cooking...so now we are even

PunkingCivic, see atleast your family speaks english. If I were to get married with some filipino chick or something they'd have to say it in korean, english and tagalog. I dunno bout you but damnit weddings are long as is, I would hate for it to be 3 times as long.

LOL... I totally feel you on that, Bro! My BF is Chinese, and I'm Chinese too. The family doesn't like me either!!!! It's all good though, because all my friends' parents love me.
