Got Another Ticket!!!!!!!! CRAP!!!!!!!! I was on the 5N fwry this afternoon and i passed by this car stopped on the side by a cop. So i just cruised and i guess the cop caught up to me and pulled me over for tinted windows on the front 
. Once he pulled me over i knew it was gonna be a fix it ticket cuz i wasnt speedin or doin anything crazy. So yea....can i just pay the fine and leave the tint on?? If so how much would the fine be?

Rep Power: 0 fix-it tickets are generally 10-25 dollars, depending on the area you're in, i suppose. However, along with the fine, you have to have an officer sign the ticket to show that you fixed the problem.

Rep Power: 0 Tint is a correctable violation. Unless the officer checked off the wrong box then I don't think you should worry. The officer should tell you what else he cited you for and would normally write it down on the ticket. Once you correct the violation, take the ticket to your nearest CHP or Sheriff's station. They will be able to sign off for the ticket. Don't take it to any LAPD divisions. LAPD will not sign off on any fix it tickets. 
I don't know the exact bail amount, but either fix it before the date that you have to appear in court, or wait in the mail for the amount.

Rep Power: 0 Cops don't suck. only some do! The laws are what suck. Check out cvc 26708 and 26708.5 Read the fine print.. you may be able to get out of your ticket. I always carry a cvc in my car. It's cool to be like "officer, I'm confused. I see that your giving me a ticket for modified exhaust. It says here in cvc 27151 that my vehicle may not emit more than 95 dba. Here is my documentation proving that my evo2 exhaust is CARB certified and produces a sound of less than 95 dba." "I don't understand. What did I do wrong?"
That's what I do for my intake, Exhaust,Tint, and everything else. I got documentation for everything. A letter from my dealer explaining that my tint is factory safety glass shading, etc..
Now never come at a cop with an attitude cuz they're human just like us. You don't wanna say "hey your'e wrong". Always treat those around you with respect.
Anyways, I've been pulled over and this works every time because I don't break the law. I won't put anything on my car that's not legal.. and cuz I'm politely show them my documentaion.
Anyways, I hope you get out of your ticket.

Cops got nothing on me. No tint, since anything is illegal here. And if they start trouble with my hids, I'll pull out the paperwork and show them the DOT legal part. Since I've taken off the muffler, I'm like a regular car now to most of them.

no0b question: wahts cvc? XD
dealers tint? how did u get a letter like that? can i get one if im getting my tint done from any old shop that does them?

Rep Power: 0 It is such a good feeling when you have the documentaion to back it up. Remember, most people never pick up a vehicle code including cops. I'ts easy to miss the fine print on some of these codes if you don't look. I think more than anything it's my attitude that helps the most. When I get pulled over I treat it like a job interview. I am polite and prepared with all the information he/she needs. Wish I would of done this when I was younger. Would of saved me alot of time and money and stress. I used to mouth of to cops like every chance I got. Never helped a damn bit, just got me in more trouble.

Ticket and drivers I used to live in UT.but always went to Cali or Vegas fur fun,now Ill gibe example of tickets..
1-reverse over speed in UT
2-Racing and pass red signal,taken picture
3-overspeed near vegas and try to escape
4-Get my fuel,start engine and spin aroung gas tanks
5-LA Little Tokyo,2 camaros did drag
6-UT,on bike 165mph at 35limit..invitation to court...
7-UT,highway,camaro SS and Porche racing..someone called cops..
and more ....
Last one in Turkey..saturday evening cop stop me becuase I didint have from license plate,he saw sunday morning and said " I warned you before" before? it was few ours ago and it was saturday damn...He gave me ticket and It sayin.." he didint stop at cop warnings" can we kill some cop? is it legal?
just kidding we love them..without them no fun on HIGHWAYS...

California Vehicle Code(CVC)... Sorry guys, Should of been more clear. You can pick one up at the DMV for like $5.00. Or you can buy a smaller version for like $12.00 online.
