US Amps are nice!! Hard to find though...I personally think any amount of power above about 1000 watts class D and 100 Watt Class A/B is overkill unless your amps are highly regulated like a JL audio amp...or if you get a high output alternator. The US amps may be regulated since they are good amps with good engineering, but I dunno. Whenever you start to drive you car automatically drops from 14.4 (14.7 in my car) to 12.6 volts...there is some power regulator in our car that automatically does this...so if you amps are unregulated, there goes a ton of power.
...and I digress
...can't wait for the pics
...btw, i don't see any 16" subs on their site?

the subs aren't flat, the older ones are, when a system is running at high listening levels the voltage will drop dramatically, that is why I'm going to get a bat cap ... the usamps amp isn't going to be ran directly from the primary battery but isolated off of it and the batcap as well. The amp also has regulated power supplies and i'll be adding those things just to be safe. .. the batcap has the fastest energy transfer so it can be used as a standalone accessory power source. The enclosure we will be attempting to create will be highly efficient which means we don't NEED 2400+wrms (the amp was bench tested at over 3000w @ 14.4v <- normal vehicle electrical system voltage) I can use just one channel and run off 1000w

hows that....
