Dashboard removal

Anyone here in So Cal know how to remove the dashboard? I know there is a DIY here but I feel a little "iffy" fiddling with the Airbags... I'm swapping out my beige interior for black so any pointers?!

Its not that hard to do it. I helped XtremeJM do it a couple of times. Once you take the airbag sensor out you really dont have to worry about it. Really not that hard. Just be patient, and remember what you did to take it apart so you can put it back together.

In the DIY it shows the steering wheel being removed, is it necessary?

Yes. You have to take off the steering wheel. To make the tracking easier when you put it back together, make a lil mark with a marker or tape or something on the piece where it goes in if there isnt one there already.
