New door pod setup w/pics

well i tossed around a few setups for a while and i finaly came up with this so i just went for it one night at the shop while i was board. 2 bazooka 5 1/4 seperats in the door panel. Im going to use the factory location for the tweeter and just keep it the one instead of the two that they come with. In the cut out (wood frame) section you see in the pic i plan to back it with plexi glass lazer etched with the word bazooka in it and lit up with blue neon on the back side to go with the rest of the blue neon i have going on...i wanted to mount some amps in there as well but i need to speak with bazooka to see if they can sponcer the other two amps that i would need for both doors...you would also be able to see the amps mounted in the window as well...thats if they sponcer them...

once all the doors r glassed up and body work done im going to carbon fiber the whole door panel but only a few parts will be seen in cf..the top wing part looking deal and parts of the bottom portion of the door because im also going to paint the door panel the original color ( Night hlk Blk ) so it will look like the CF fades in and out of the paint...

How long would something like that take and also what do you mean by "all the body work" besides painting it.

He means bondo, sanding, and pretty much preping for paint.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say I don't like it. It doesn't really look all that good. Maybe when it gets finished and painted and all that I'll change my mind.

hahaha....that was funny. ya alpine civc was right ...if you can picture umm lets say an asfault road or cement(rocky...or bumpy).. that would be how smooth it would be after fiber glassing for the added strenth(unfinished)...you would then need to bondo the whole thing and sand it down to get it to look as smooth as the out side of your car for painting .....time frame for somthing like this is about ummm...two days..at the most..depending on the weather and how extrem you go on the fabrication...it can get alot crazyer then this...
