Money shouldn't be too much of an issue. If they were able to sell that whole widebody celica kit for a starting price of $1300 (pre-order) then there shouldn't be any reason why they wouldn't be able to give us some sort of pre-order deal, also. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Also, I think my chop and the original one look different because the front bumper on my chop seems to be wider, at least the mouth area of the bumper... obviously the other chop was better made, and is probably closer to what the real body kit should look like, lol.

okay now heres the deal if you guys want the fenders, it would be an extra $250. So yes, a complete M3 kit including (front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper and fender flares) will be available as soon as i get 10 preorders to start the production of this kit. Basically, it would take about 2-3 weeks to make the mold for this kit and then it has to be sent overseas where the kit is going to be mass produced, then sent back over here and then distributed. Receipts wll be given out to all those that preorder/order the kit to let everyone know that this is legit. Thanks for the interest...Trong

count me in for the m3 kit i just would like to see the sides and rear though, on the rear would it be possible to get a single exhaust outlet for hte ones that want it and a dual for the ones that want that because for me i think having two outlets unless there being used looks akward

Its gonna be single due to the fact that there arent any/mny dual exausts for our car. Basically, wat you see on a M3 is whats gonna be on a civic. We're gonnaget as close as possible to the real thing. THannks...Trong

hand laid fiberglass so its not the cheap stuff. in the first 10 orders. customers 1-5 the price would be $650 shipped, customers 6-10 would be $750 shipped, then anyone else after that the price is going to be $850 shipped. Also, if you are interested in teh fender flares, that would be an additional $250. Hope this info helps...Trong

sKwiD is on a distinguished road
OH dang, $650 shipped is good! I was just throwing out my idea of a kit that I would like to see manufactured, and I'm glad its actually on the road, however I don't have the money right now so sorry guys. Maybe you should post it in another forum, not just SoCal. Also, I have a sedan, so if you could make the sides interchangable for the sedan and coupe (like the OEM kit), that would be better, since us 4doors are equally important too. As for the rear, I dunno. Don't know if you want to manufacture a whole new rear bumper for a sedan. And I also agree with evopanop, the chop that I found (blue civic) would look better because the bumper is longer and lower. Maybe not exactly like that, but about an inch higher (for those that really drop their ride). Go ahead and post this in another forum and let see the response. If anything, when I get the money, I'll definitely get the front bumper!

Hey, so what pre-order spot am I in? lol

Also, for the pre-order, I believe I read something in the Celica thread that they'll take a downpayment for the pre-order. Something like 25%, or something of that sort? Let me know as soon as they get something worked out, so I know what kind of $$ I'm looking at spending here.

Edit: So, basically, it'd look *somewhat* similar to this?

I dunno if I'm diggin' it... I guess it looks cool like that, too. Is there any way that iDesigns would be able to cutout a second exhaust outlet on the rear bumper for me, for an added cost or anything? I'd go and have the dual exhaust custom-made anyway, lol.

I really like the m3 idea. But the blue civic m3 idea looks better. THe sides are clean because theyre plain.. and the rear is awesome, but it should me a bit (1inch or so) thinner. Also see if u can make the rear fit sedan.. like most rears. Thanks.

yah the blue civic looks a whole lot more proportional than the sover. dont worry, we will try our best to make this kit looks the best it possibly can. We dont want to be know as the company the sells ugly/wack kits you know.

Oh and evopanop, if youre down for the preorder spot, you're the first one man...just give me a pm so i can confirm it so i can make a new post or something or keep note of it somewhere. just 9 more peeps and this kit will be hitting the streets soon.

And yes, i apoligize that i can not manufacture this kit in polyurethae YET. It has to be done in fiberglass and if the popularity of this kit hits the roof, we will then be able to see if it would be cost efficient to make in in urethane. Most people dont understand the fact that urethane kits are made differently and there is more headache involved producing it as well as getting it painted. Most people do want urethane but in the end, end up with fiberglass. But like i said if things go well with this kit, there will be no doubt that i will try to get aurethane version out to the public. Hope this info helps you guys. Like i said, we're here to try with ourvery best effort to provide whats best for the customer. THanks a lot...>Trong

Pre-orders only require a 25% deposit so you dont have to pay the full amount up front. I understand that moet people would not fork out the entire amountfor something that hasnt even been made yet. THanks for the interest guys...Trong

So, since I want the body kit with the fender flares... it'd be $650 + $250, which equals $900; and, then 25% of that? So, $225? Let me know if I'm right, or not, lol.

Don't worry, jttegx. The rear won't be all weird like the photochop I did. Obviously their's will be straight and very clean looking. That was just a quick photochop I did to see what it would *kind of* look like. Sorry if it was misleading in any way.

Edit: Also, WorldsSlowestEm2, do you think you could find out the answer to my pervious question for me? "Is there any way that iDesigns would be able to cut out a second exhaust outlet on the rear bumper for me, for dual exhaust, for an added cost or anything? I'd go and have the dual exhaust custom-made anyway."

Thanks for everything so far. I really hope this kit goes into production, and sells very well.

THanks for your support man, i really appreciate it. Id have to say i can only make what there is a higher deamn for. It'd be kinda funky having 1 mold for the front, 1 for the sides and 2 for the rear you know. Let me know what you guys think, single or dual????? thanks

hell i can talk to my employer to see if he wants to do this as well. i have no problems starting another projuect, it would just help me look better with my employer. but as the samething with this kit, if you can get 10 preorders for me, i can/will make this happen. Cool????? Let me know. If theres an interest in the cf lip kit, then im interested in making it happen. iDesigns is up and coming so the more projects the more merrier. thanks for your suggestions.....Trong

We have some good opinions here no crazy ideas so far, clean, clean, clean.

I like the M3 Style too, but dont do an exact conversion or we seem like wannabes. I dont want a kit car BMW or I'll be like the guys with MR2's who try to make um ferrari's, you end up looking like the automotive equivilant of a *******.......lol......its funny but I'm serious here, you need to mix in some true honda cues too so you create a new look not frankencivic.

This is what I plan on doing to my car http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...hreadid=150568 add some M3 side flares and a front splitter and I'd be the happiest man alive.

yes i would like the rear to fit the coupes better and in carbon fiber, I need to know the price on the full kit, and just plain lip like this but in carbon fiber I need a good estimate price so I can start saving.
