BBQ on the beach

Me, my gf and some of her friends want to have a BBQ on the beach. Like actually on the beach. Do any of you guys know which beachs in Southern Cali allow this? Thanks

Hueneme beach in Port Hueneme in ventura county

The brown spots on the left of the pic are bbq pits with benches.

I thought all beaches let you BBQ but not all have fire pits, what area are you looking for, up toward northridge or the hot sunny beaches of the OC baby!

Sorry for being a noob but where do you get the firewood for the bonfires if i cant find an old desk to throw out? How early do I have to "reserve" the pits(I heard they get taken quite fast). Anywhere else besides huntington that has them? more up north preferably

pits are usually at a first come first serve basis. Last summer, my friends parents had us go reserve them a pit cuz we usually get there at 7:30 in the morning and left our crap there and headed out to surf while his parents shouw up at like 1pm. Thats in the summer though cuz everyone wants a pit but now u can get away with shouwing up at like 3 or 4 just to be on the safe side

Yo mang, just go to the back of a market and pick up some of the extra pallets that they leave in the back of the store and grab the pallets. You will need a truck or suburban tho. Pretty big in size. Then, you can either break em apart, or you can just throw the whole thing in the pit (if its big enough) and add fire!!!
