Question Personal Care

Well, I have a non-opened bottle of Renu contacts solution that is over due since 8/03. Do you guys think I can still use it without going blind? Thanks

also, open the container and if the fluid is milky or musky, it is no good. it should be clear like water...

i used to work at an optometrist office, but we've never given out overdue solution. personally when i was younger, i have used overdated crap. hahahahaa... but keep on mind that renue has the most preservatives than opti free or other brands, so i'd think it might be okay? it's pretty much just saline, some preservatives, and other junk. use at own discretion?

I'm gonna be an opt and i currently work with one... i'd throw it away if i were you... this one girl came in and reused contact solution she left out on her desk for a day... some bacteria started eating out her cornea... meaning she could have gone completely blind in that eye... now its just really scarred and she cant see 20/20 out of that eye anymore even with glasses. I also suggest you to use opti free instead of renu. Renu has some type of dye that stays permanent on your eyes says my optometrist... so hope that helps..

night and days are good, but just remember to clean them if you go in smokey areas and what not. but personally, i'd say take them off once a week and clean them. not just soak them, but rub them. digital cleansing is better than just soaking them. pop them in and you'll feel much better.
