Yes I beat you Dave :P
It's pretty sad when somebody crashes their ride and people simply want your parts. Monica would really hate to see any of that happen in this thread...

Sorry to hear about this unfortunate incident. Good luck with whatever it is you decide to do wether it be salvaging the car or scraping it to go with the accord. Either way, I can help you out if you need it. I have a shop, that will do insurance and help you fix it up crazy through insurance. Or, if you need anything for your accord, I can get you good deals through the manufactures I deal with.

Yea, mom, thanks! That's really going to help me out! I'm so so lucky my dad hasn't really ripped my arm off for this accident. When I called yesterday, the lady said that the trasmission box was CRACKED! Then my dad asked if I even had time to stop.. I said I think so because I didn't remember!
I kinda want to forget this accident, but I kinda don't.Anyway, a lot of **** has been happening this year in my family. We've lost a couple people, including my mom's friend's sister's son who died in a car accident in Anheiem just one week before my accident. My mom had to take time off her new job to attend the viewing and couldn't attend the actually service because she had work. Okay, now I'm just starting to vent. Thank you everyone for all your support!

Here are a couple pictures of my new ride.. before putting on my C2s I think I'm going to have to find me some coil-overs! I don't plan on having this car for more than a year so I don't think buying a coil-over system is the way to go.

Actually, this one was the last 94 LX in October of 1995! After he got white my mom said no white for the TL. I wish we would've gotten white
! White is just clean damnit! Out of the 12 cars on my dad's side of the family, 9 are white! Everyone family in my family has at least one white car in their garage. Ironic! Especially when we have get togethers!

Good lookin' out Mango! Ironic though, I slammed my 4th gen.. I didn't have any problems except the car was an EX so it was extremely heavy and the Neuspeeds slammed the car. It was the sweetest Accord in the Gabrielino High School parking lot!! By the way, what problems did you encounter by lowering your Accord?
I started driving when I was 15, right now, I'm 19 going on to 20 at the end of May. This will by my 3rd car, 3rd Honda, 2nd Accord, first LX, and 2nd white Honda [for Temo].

Well because of the 2" drop, the control arms were sitting millimeters away from the inside of the fender wells and while just driving normally (over the slightest bump) it would rub MAJORLY on that part of the chassis, so I had my local tuner shop cut the edge of the control arm so it wont rub, but it still rubs, though not as bad. Good luck with your car. put the wheels on, lower (no more than 2"), paint the side mouldings, and paint the tails all red. Thats my idea for a clean look...
edit: Oh and some euro corners!
Also while a coupe is nice, a 4 door is WAY more practical for bringing friends along.
Thats definitely a plus...
Though doesnt cover up for the big minus, the loss of your car. Good luck

Monica, do NOT lower your Accord, you will have BAD problems with the suspension. Happened w/ my 4th gen, im almost certain 5th gen owners have the same prob

i concur! hehe
Pounding that part of the inner fender isnt a good idea, cause thats a major part of the chassis which absorbs energy in a collision. you're creating a stress point, and will buckle in an accident. avoid tampering with any of the structural areas of a car

Uhh.. thats a lot of researching there Mango haha
Thank you though for specifing not to go lower than 2.0"!!!! I was thinking about getting coil-overs so that if it does start to rub, I'll raise it ASAP. Does it rub because you didn't have a camber kit?
Oh yeah, and if my 4thgen wasn't that heavy.. then I guess the NEuspeeds were just too low hahaha

damn. logged in and saw the topic, and before I can click on it all I can think of was damn.
glad to read that you weren't hurt though.
the accord is a nice ride imo... or rather a lot more comfortable than a civic.
