yeah. i learned the hard way. i paid $35 for my custom piping the first time, and they did such a crappy job. on the whole catback piping, they welded like 6 pieces together! so it looked soo nasty. and they did the crappiest job ever tucking the piping and bending it at the right places. also, for the hangers, they welded the tips on the SIDES of my muffler, which runs the risk of tearing off and basicaly leaving a big *** hole on the sides of the muffler. i couldnt' believe it. so i learned.., most of the time...u get what you pay for.
about a week ago, i took a hit underneath my car on the mid piping on a speedbump. and i started to hear a rattling noise. the hanger for the mid pipe was so close to breaking off and was soo loose. so it was rattling against a metal piece covering. and it was the first time i got to look at the ghetto job the shop did.
anyways, i got my piping redone at a local shop for 90, and they did the best job ever. tucked it perfectly, used quality hangers, welded the hangers in the right spots, and also did a perfect one piece piping with the perfect bends. they also guaranteed that it would never break, and if it ever did, that they'd completely redo the piping for free.
