yeah, its pretty simple to do, just make sure u have a dremel handy and a drill with the right drill bits (goes a lil faster - but its more safer to do with the dremel. just depends on how sure u are using tools.) theres a diy in the diy section i think.

be sure to put masking tape on the area you are planning to screw into (just a very small piece), that way you won't crack the clear and resin (assuming you're installing the hood pins on a carbon fiber hood) when you're tightening the screw.
Titanium Metallic. You got a problem with that?

Serio!!! I DIY a lot of stuff but Id rather have a shop do it cuz theyve done it before and if they fjck it up, looks like Im getting a new CF hood.
If you do happen to take it to a shop and they mess up your hood. Are they responsible? Do they have to buy you a new hood? When i lived in so cali i took my hood to a shop and they f@#cked it up

if i have the choice between hood pins or locks i would get hood locks instead...added security and still good for keeping your hood on your car at high speeds...

i think i found something like the "hood locks"
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2443644180
uses a key to pop the pins off. i think i'm still gonna go with sparco hood pins.
