My system may sound louder or hit lower well for 2 reasons:
1. A 15" will push more air and give more pressure
2. The box Im using was designed by a co-worker which has won many trophys at USSAC and DB Drag Racing events
heres a quick run down on my system:
2 x MRV-F540 4 Channel amp 80w x 4 RMS (1 for front speakers and 1 for Rear and Center)
2 x MRD-M500 Mono Block Amp 500w x 1 RMS (1 per voicecoil)
1 x SWR-1521D 15" Type-R sub 500w RMS 1500w Peak (per voice coil)
All Alpine products.
