Ehhhh not sure if my car will make it lol. My dad wants me to check out apartments first to see if they have a garage. If they do I get to keep the car if not I can get either an older car or get a bike. I think I'll prefer the bike if I do go but not sure. Thinking about leasing a car down there actually But I'm still down to meet you fawkers

BTW is it because it's too hot to own a black car down there or something? LOL Is that why you guys don't have a black Civic down there?

HEHE when I was living there even though I bought my car in Oregon I saw and talked to people who owned black cars. The swirl marks, the paint fading with the intense heat with nasty UV rays in the summer, and with the car just being super hot in general kept the people I knew from buying another black car while living in Phoenix. Also I noticed with all the dust in the town the black just gets covered with a brown haze in no time, like the same day people wash the car.

My silver is old though wish I would have got the blue but oh well hated the beige interior on it.

But Yeah I know a lot of people who have went to UTI and if I move to Phoenix sometime again I will definately not keep the civic the insurance sucks on it down there better off with a old gen civic or something.

I'm sorry. Arizona is a god forsaken place to live, something I would never wish upon anyone.

BUT I guess we can now say we have our very own moderator! Looking forward to meeting you...and...don't worry about the whole "black cars are too hot" here thing....f*cking hot is f*cking hot! I can't tell ANY difference when going between my moms black Acura to my white Civic. Still feels like the face of the f*cking sun to me!!

Yeah I definately won't ever be coming back to phoenix, my buddy who had his house I was possibly going to move into is selling it, so my civic will never be catching any more phoenix heat. But I know the rent is decent if you look around I was paying mid 500's for a gated community with a one bedroom, no garage though in Vegas when I was looking it was running like 60-80 extra a month for a garage.

Yeah the 5th gen civics aren't bad I had a friend who really had one decked out and I loved it more then my 7th gen over all.

HEHE well with the heat down there you could possibly lose more treadlife then up in WA where it rains and its cooler year round. Most of my buds in AZ who had low profile tires went through more sets of tires then when they lived in other places. But talking to tire people I know with the extreme heats you will go through tires in about half the time then the recommended tire life they specify so tuff getting mileage warranties.

But besides that, there is a decent night life sucks bars don't stay open till 2 like around here, decent girls, and prime basketball action since it doesn't rain too much. But overall the only thing I miss from AZ is the IN-N-OUT burger, but I can go to CA to get that now so its all good.

The state wasn't for me but exnbp you may end up liking the place so I say go for it

Damn it looks like the Azenis will need a brother hood of wheels and tires LOL I've gone through like 4-5 sets of OEM Honda wheels. Lookin for another set to autox with. Any of you guys autox? I'd be down to setup an autox meet late July when I first get there. One of my buds might race his VW to. But he's arrogant lol but it's all good

the Az crew is getting bigger and bigger...dont worry about having a black car in AZ, th heat doesnt discriminate...everything is hot when you get into it. Be sure to check out the pics of our meet next week so you'll see what we got out here in AZ.
