Yeah 120 days after the court date if they havent been able to contact you, by law they have to dismiss. They will try to send a person to your house to hand deliver it, but if they cant contact you they have to dismiss it.
You can see the status of any of your tickets or encounters with the law at http://www.supreme.state.az.us/publi...search.asp?id=

I read that only about 15% of those tickets ever actually get settled anyway...
Here is what they do...they run the plate and find out who the registered owner is. Then they pull up the MVD (driver's license) picture of that person and try to match to the driver in the picture. Cant tell= no ticket
I dont know what they can do for out of state plates.

Chris didn't you tell me about that guy who kept doing 130+ on the 101 with no plate when they first went up? Apparently while they weren't handing out speeding tickets during that "test" period, they WOULD hand out wreckless driving tickets.
I heard the tickets will not be issued if you live outside of the country as it would be too expensive to send a process server if neccassary.

Yeah, during the month long test phase they had some people do 125+...they found most of them and arrested them for wreckless
I heard one guy hit every camera going one way and each time the speed was higher

Ya unless they say that you dont live there anymore, But then I wondered if you could get in trouble for potentially having the wrong address. When I went to court the other day there was a guy who had ignored a bunch of them and caught up to him he was paying fines from camera tickets two years ago. I only overheard him talking so I dont know the whole story. Because of that I dont think these really go away but instead probably incure charges.

Just dont get a ticket in paradise valley and not pay it. They WILL send somebody to your door, they WILL send certified mail, etc, etc. It was hellish for a while. But they never got a hold of me, haha.
