the plates stay with the owner and you just transfer the plate over to the new car...

if the tags are still good, they have credit on them...that goes towards the new registration fee

ya..i checked all that...it was only a midwest car for a year...they are the second owner and got it in 2003..

its still in town...im sure i could get the plate...i am still waiting for the title to come in the mail to give to the new owner....



oh and as far as rust....lexus warranty is 72 months and unlimited miles on corrosion

I'm pretty sure that NOT ALL warranties are transferrable. I've read about that somewhere before.
