What is involved in resurfacing a flywheel? Is that something that can be done with the proper tools?

I was thinking of an aftermarket lightweight flywheel! resurfacing has to be done at a machine shop if I'm not mistaken!

Peace

I dont need the faster revs from a lightweight flywheel though. When boost is kicking in at like 22-2500 rpms, that will be fine. I drive in rush hour all the time, like everyday. Camelback, Downtown, the freeway. I know people who have complete machine shops in their garage (tweakers), and they could do it, if I knew what was involved and watch over them. They have built some quick all motor hatches. Like a 89 hatch w/170 or 180 hp all motor. This is on the stock motor, with a different head and some work. Not too bad though for crackheads. haha

If anybody wants it, its for sale, they have 2 that are about the same, but one is for sale, runs nicely I believe. they wanted like a 1,000
