I got pics, but none on the puter yet. It was bomb, except some person was going 10 and under around every turn. So like 5 of us were stuck. We started laying on our horns and eventually they pulled over. About 3 or 4 turns later, we took a turn at like 40, and there is a cop coming the opposite way. (as well as traffic the other way on the 2lane rd). He flips a bitch, and we keep driving like we were. We pulled over about 5 minutes later when we saw the othes stopped. Like 5 minutes later he came by and kept going. He couldnt keep up. haha.

We just went up a lil ways and took Cornfield Rd. to I17... it had more twisties in it!! it dropped us off about 4 miles north of where the 260(which you guys took) connects with I17... you followed Laura right? in the white coupe?

Nah, she wasnt with us. There was my friends 98 silver EX, and 4 white SI's. She may have been with us, but I dont believe I saw her.
Hey Les, do you know anything about upholstering? juss wondering since you knew the fabric place, and what they had. I would like to redo my interior (completely in black/grey. Maybe in a month or so. Or do it in pieces at a time, like over a month period. Any pointers/help would be awesome. Plus there would be beer or whatever for helping (cash).
Luckily my grill will be gone in a week or 2. haha POS. Gotta get as much rice out of my car as possible. I messed it up so bad when I was starting/learning to mod. You shoulda seen it like a year ago

I've had some experience with upholstering mostly car audio stuff and whatnot. Carpet and vinyl both... best bet is to map out what you'd like your interior to end up looking like then we can go to that fabric place and see what they have that fits into your plan!
I'm always up for helping though and we live just down the road from each other...

I know exactly what I want. I didnt do my doors, since I was unsure of how to get it to stick in the cracks. The upper half will be black, and the lower half will be grey. It will be the same pattern as stock, but just change the colors.
I was trying to remember who lived right down the road. Thanks for clearing that up. Pretty pimp, I will keep an eye out for you. Loved your car. I dont care for my rims, but will keep them, since Ill be boosted, I dont give a damn. Ill let my chrome whoop on people. hehe
Yeah I was with them, that was one clean EP. With the CF kit. Definately my favorite. Me and my friend ended up getting like miles ahead of them. We were going like 100 back, and eventually they got lost. It was an awesome time. Never been on a cruise or even been to a meet. Ill hit you up when I do my interior. You can help me pick out what will stay the best. What I have now is vinyl, with that cotton looking backing on it. It sucks! The heat warped the cotton part and you can see through the vinyl where the glue is thicker. Gotta get nonriced out here.
Thanks a lot!

Right on. We should also have a help me turbo my car meet. hehe. We need a tech day soon. Like a week or two. Anybody who wants to help install a kit can come over. Ill let you know when I got everything (including beer). Shouldnt be more than a week or two till its all in my possession. My one friend is gonna help and my neighbor has welding supplies, so if anybody knows how to weld, that would be cool. My neighbor says he isnt very good, but he wanted the stuff basically, since he has to work on his cars a lot. Anyways, Ill post up a thread when Im gonna be doing it.

Im gettin the TSI Kit. I just need my eFile. Its a week late, so before Friday I should be able to order. I cant wait much longer. Hopefully it fits much better than the older kits, since they supposedly worked out all the issues. We'll see though. I dont think I will need too much welding, since its direct bolt and go (to an extent w/o tuning) If anything, maybe just some latches for holding the intercooler to the bumper and my exhaust will probably need some modification as well until I can get a new one. Anybody know a good mandrel pipe bender place?

Sorry, I was going 6.5 MPH around those curves. Thanks to the bastards in front of us. Stupid pieces!!!!!!! I was talking so much sh** about them. At least I got 3 turns before the cop saw me skid around the corner
I say we do another cruise sometime soon. That was fun as fu(K. Im thinking I want to have a get together at my house on March 5. Like some BBQ, drinks, munchies, and turbos. Let me know if you would be interested in comin? There can be swimming, too, if you want to freeze your *** off.
I live on Tatum, between Greenway and Bell. Im gonna start a thread later. I may even want to do it a week earlier IF I can get a babysitter for a day. I would probably just wait though.
How hard is it to install a clutch? I saw the DIY for it, and it seems easier to install the turbo than a clutch. Like I have to take half my motor apart, take the mounts out, the transmission, lots of stuff?
